Here is a handy technique to help you motivate yourself

 

Can you remember a time when you were totally _______ (in love, attracted, motivated, at peace, etc.)?

 

Can you remember a specific time?

 

Go back to that time, in your mind.

 

As you remember that time:

 

(A)  What was the very first thing that caused you to be totally ______?

            Was it something you saw?

            Was it something you heard?

            Was it the touch of someone or something?

What was the very first thing that caused you to be totally ______?

 

(B)  After you saw, heard, were touched, what was the very next thing that caused you to be totally ______?

Did you:

-Make a picture in your mind?

-Say something to yourself?

-Have a certain feeling or emotion?

 

What was the very next thing that caused you to be totally ______?

 

After you (A) and (B), what was the very next thing that caused you to be totally ______?

            Did you:

-Make a picture in your mind?

-Say something to yourself?

-Have a certain feeling or emotion?

-Did something else happen?

 

What was the very next thing that caused you to be totally ______?

 

Were you totally ________ at this point?

 

If yes, elicitation is complete.

If no continue eliciting what was seen, heard and felt.
